23 May John Scott joins Novel Biotechnology Inc as VP of Business Development

Novel Biotechnology Inc., a biotech company developing new solutions for plasmid DNA manufacturing – a critical starting material for gene therapy, cell engineering, mRNA therapy and vaccine applications – is pleased to welcome John Scott as VP, Business Development.

John is an accomplished leader with 28 years of experience in Research, Medical Devices and the Biotechnology domain. He has launched new products, formed new sales divisions and setup smaller organizations for success in biotech reagent sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Novel Biotechnology, John was VP of Global Sales at Slingshot Biosciences, where he was responsible for building the commercial team from the ground up.  Prior to Slingshot, John spent over a decade at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), supporting a variety of product verticals.

As Novel gets ready to expand our lab and service offerings, John will play a key role in developing our business strategy and sales.
